Charlie and the chocolate factory

Summary of Charlie and the chocolate factory
Charlie’s family is very poor. They live in a small old house with seven persons but only one bed. Charlie’s mother and father and both their parents mother and father live in the same house. The four grandparents share the bed while Charlie and his parents sleep on mattresses. The only one that provides the family money is Charlie’s father that works in a toothpaste factory, but he doesn’t get paid too much. Charlie is often very hungry because they can’t afford too much food, although he doesn’t starve.

In the evenings he uses to sit at his grandparent’s bed and listen to when they tell all kinds of stories, and he specially loves when it’s about the big chocolate factory that’s placed in the middle of the town. It’s called Willy Wonkas chocolate factory and it’s the most famous chocolate factory in the whole world. The one thing he loves more than anything else is chocolate. Once a year his family saves money together and buys him a piece of chocolate on his birthday.

Whom can you really trust?

Whom can you really trust?
Anonymous are a group of people that fight for a free internet, like a digital Robin Hood. They don’t want the internet to be censored or controlled by the governments. Even though no one knows who they are, they have made pretty amazing things, and they have members from all over the world. One thing they have done that is rather well known is “Operation Payback”. It was a coordinated group of attacks by internet activist aimed towards banks who had cancel the payments to WikiLeaks. The cyber-attack they made was a so called DDoS. From this action, it followed a lot of attacks on other anti-piracy organizations like law firms and sites that has a connection with anti-piracy.

Wikileaks is a site that exposes hidden and secret information from the high profile governments. I think it’s a good thing they do even though I’m not usually on that site or interested in what’s on there, but I don’t think the government should hide information from the public. We have rights to know what’s happening in the world and information should not be hidden. Of course they don’t hide everything but it’s most financial, political and military information that is hidden by the government. I actually think the government tries to manipulate the public a bit.  I think this is because they hide information about things they do, and only tell the public the things they want us to know and therefore we don’t get a real picture of how it really is.

Everything that says on the news and are written on the internet or in newspapers are not always true either. That’s why you have to be critical when you reading or listening to the media. They might say the truth most of the times but maybe not the whole truth, because they might not have more information or might not be allowed by the government to tell specific things.
